There is no Mbus in the SS5.  The memory architecture is completely
different and designed around low latency rather than high throughput.  
The microSparc CPU package itself incorporated most of the same glue that
went into the Mbus interface chips, which is why it can be used with very
few support chips.

Early SS5s generally are the ones with socketed CPUs (70MHz and some 
85MHz).  Fujitsu sold a 160MHz TurboSparc upgrade that dropped into the 
CPU socket (along with a replacement boot ROM) that worked very well.
