A 250 is one of the few models where you can get the case apart in the
normal position through sufficient man-handling without destroying the
case.  Anyone who can destroy the outer shell of a 250 with his bare
hands probably needs to not be working with computers. :)

Keyswitches show up on eBay every once in a while, too.

I believe that's pretty easy, even if it requires a bit of
trial-and-error.
