His Ultra 2 has an UltraSPARC-I CPU in it, and Solaris will default to
32-bit mode on those processors due to a bug that lets user-mode code
deadlock the CPU.  You can force a 64-bit boot on them, but it's
documented in the boot configuration file and the boot man page.
