[rescue] Spaceball + IRIX?

Of course it did :)  It's a FireGL1000Pro, i was using software rendering with a Matrox Millennium
I. They actually did make a 3DSMAX plugin/driver for the Millennium but it sucked.  It really wasn't
a 3D card by any stretch of the imagination.  I remember paying something like $325 for the 6 meg
RAM upgrade for that card back in '96.  Wow, times have changed.  I also remember trying to rig up a
3Dfx 1 card to render in a quarter screen window, but had little success.

A couple of years later, the real kick ass card for Max were the 4 proc Oxygen cards, sweet. 
Integraph was making Wildcat cards back then to go into their own workstations but i don't
remember if you could purchase them separately at first or not.
