[rescue] Mute Sparc Classic

Have you used snoop to see what is happening on the network ?

If you can ping and ssh into the box then it is capable of two
way traffic (unless another box is on that IP address and the Classic's
ethernet port is bad).

What do your routing tables (netstat -rn) look like ?
Do all the routes look fine ?

Are you on a hub or a switch ?

It would be very unusual (as it would have to be pretty much done
intentionally) but could another machine on the network have the
same hardware ethernet address ?

What do the arp tables look like (arp -a) ?
