Most physically impressive disk I've ever had the pleasure to lift was the 
good 'ole Sun 1GB IPI disks (made by CDC I think), you could fit two of 
them on a shelf in a x90 series Sun cabinet.

You don't hear much about IPI disks these days, I guess they just weren't 
as popular as SMD ones.  Anyone still got any kicking around?
