They were Macs in PC cases... I've worked on the PowerComputing 
boxes... very boring... they even had connector solder pads for all 
sorts of standard ATX x86 stuff... i.e. IDE onboard...34 pin 
floppy...parallel port.

IT was bizarre... this is probably from the CHRP/PreP heritage in the 
4400 Tanzania design.
