Not the South Pacific, I assure you.  Bainbridge Island, Washington, across
Puget Sound from Seattle. Population about 20,000.  Connected to Seattle by
ferry (about 45 minutes) and to Kitsap County by a rather spindly old
bridge.  Great place.
