Well, I wouldn't say "nicely", but if you try hard enough it can be 
done.

I've had some 5400's and as old macs go they are nice.  They will run 
OS 9.  They have a standard RJ45 for ethernet.  My wife wrote a large 
portion of her book on one of these.
