And there is total apathy in the Linux community, even among those who 
have already worked on sun4c, to fix that platform.  There still seems 
to be interest in sun4m though so I would probably consider that a 
minimum spec for running Linux these days.

Though I must admit being partial to OpenBSD for sun4m boxen.
