Generalizations suck.. Because you have never seen does not make gospel. I have been in on many a T1 and T3 installation that was not hdsl. My 1/2 T is a copper pair from the demarc approx. 150' down the alley from my office. That is hooked into the fiber from the demarc to the backbone near Des Moines. Was in on a upgrade for an Eaton corporation from 2 - T1's to 2 - T3's that never involved any hdsl about 3 months ago. I have no problems with people expressing what they have seen or been involved in, but don't decide that is the only option.
