NetBSD has general SMP support for a long time. 1.6 supports SMP on
Alpha and VAX. -current has SMP for Alpha, VAX, i386, macppc, sparc and
amd64. It would get SMP for sparc64 very soon if someone with the right
skills has a bit time to work on it. But there would be an additional
problem: Support for the IO / bus architecture of the larger Sun
systems. E.g. sun4d is still unsupported. Not to speak about the E10K.
AFAIK the E10k is very different to any other Sun system.
