That's because both IBM and Apple POWER and PowerPC systems are based on
either the CHRP or PReP architecture.  There are rumours that you can
boot MacOS on some IBM systems via Mac-On-Linux.  I'd like to try that.
OS 9 (or, hell, OS X) on a POWER4+ system would be silly fast.
