I've not tried a KB, but I have tried a type 6 Sun mechanical mouse through 
the iMac(Rev B) KB, and found that the iMac will not boot OS X with the Sun 
mouse plugged in.  It would hang at the grey Apple logo until I unplugged 
the Sun mouse.
