[rescue] Linux with Raid array

I have a Clariion raid subsystem i'm runing on a linux box, the system has 3
LUN's, but linux is reporting that there are 32 lun's, it corectly
identifies the first three, but if i try to format them, it act's like it's
formating them and i get the drive activity but as soon as the drive
activity stops, i'm assuming it finished formating it, the linux box locks
up. Any sugestions on how to fix this?
