Hmm, the Precisionbook works quite smoothly, only drives with an IDE-to-SCSI
make some sort of strange problems (and suck generally), real 2.5"
SCSI-drives work quite smoothly

Not that I know of.

Last time I tried to boot the C200 it got up to the protected mode
but hung immediately.

The OpenBSD/hppa64 port for machines with CPUs >8000/8200 (i.e. 8500, 8600
...) is in its very early stages. These systems have to boot a 64-bit
kernel, they can't run in 32-bit mode (as e.g. the C200) and use a
very different I/O-architecture than the 32-bit HP-PAs.
