There's and inexpensive easily update-able system for you. A small x86
machine with a newer board that boots from removable devices, some RAM,
and an IDE Zip 250.
Want to change the whole machine? Change the disk!
Would be a good thing for maybe cluster nodes as long as everything is
moved to a Ramdisk. Or maybe a rack full of simple mail servers.
I'm sure we could find a good use for this idea. :-)
