We don't officially have anybody on call ... there's no way to enforce
it, and no way to pay for it. In practice, there usually 3 or 4
weekends a year when someone has to be on call, and it's always me on
the Unix side (which has recently become partially justifyable now I'm
the head admin).

If we work overtime, we get paid for it. Which (daftly) has to be
arranged for in advance (so panic work doesn't get paid).
