Yes. I call this "component magnetism". If you have a part of a system
or a system that is missing some important parts, just be patient. 
All you need to get a complete working system will come to you 
with time. (Remembering my first QBus VAX. A MV II without disk...
that has now several GB of disk space as well as a MV III CPU. 
Or my PDP 11. Started as a /23 with broken CPU and SLU, now a /73 
with 4 MB RAM, EDSI disk, ...)

Hmmm. A AS4100 with 4 x 440 MHz EV5 CPUs. A dream machine. 
Only toped by a DEC 8000.
