[rescue] Anyone know what this is?

Yep, just what the description says... it's the system controller
for an Origin 200.  It handles power-on, power-off, and provides
a unique system ID number using what SGI calls a NIC (Number in
a can) which looks like a small button battery. The card inserts
into the orgin 200 from the front panel (it's just under the
small plastic panel that supports the On/Off button. If you want
to swap system identities, this is the critter you change. Useless
unless you happen to have an origin 200 without one.
