If I remember rightly, the 4[01]00 is the ES40's predecessor so it's
pretty recent.

It'll look the same as a 4100. The main difference between the 4000 and
the 4100 is that the 4100 has a larger system chassis so it can take 4
CPUs whilst the 4000 is limited to 2. The 4000 can unlike the 4100 can
take a PCI bus expansion option increasing the number of PCI slots from
quite useful to ridiculously impressive (i.e. I can't remember).

If you're that curious I'll take some pics at work tomorrow ... they're
"only" 4000 5/300's, but look the same.

It might pull that much if it's fully populated; that'll be 8Gbytes
memory, 4 CPUs, 8 PCI cards, 32 or so disks.
