[rescue] Anyone ever try netbsd/macppc on Pb3400?

I've been fighting with getting a boot of the installer to happen any of 
three ways (haven't tried a net boot yet, I'm stubborn) and I can't seem 
to get anything to go. Thought that some one else might have gotten a 
hand-me-down Pb3400 and said something akin to "Mmmm, forbidden UNIX 
laptop" and wanted to try this. Any pointers or I just a bleedin' idiot 
(again)?
