[rescue] Fixing 20e21

It looks like I have an oportunity to get an SGI GDM 20e21 monitor for
an incredible price, far below the going rate.  I've been needing a new 
monitor for quite some time anyway.

There is one problem.  The seller says that the HD-15 port works perfectly, 
but says he suspects that the 13w3 connector doesn't.  Now, usually I refuse
to do any monitor repair work.  But in this case, I'm wondering how hard can
it be to fix if one of the two ports works and the other doesn't, since both
are the same signal aren't they?

Any ideas on the topic?  Maybe I should just hold out till I can afford a
perfect monitor from a better source, but we are talking like half the price
nearly hear, and waiting means waiting at least another two months.
