I am a long years NetBSD user and I am now using Tru64 5.1 on my
PWS 500au. I like ist. It is a nice *ix. It claims to be SysV,
but I saw the kernel config file. Very, _very_ BSDish.
And: The AdvFS of Tru64 is superior to *BSD FFS, even with softdeps.
It is very fast, flexible and jornaled / log structured.
Also: You wrote that this is a dual CPU machine in an other mail.
I expect the SMP support of OSF to be better than that in NetBSD,
as the NetBSD SMP stuff is still "expermental".
Give it a try. You won't regret it.

Tru64 5.1 faild to install on my DEC 3000 600. Later I discoved that
it didn't like the fscking IBM disk. (mv IBM_disks* /dev/null)
