it's pretty hard to find ram for this model, and i'm not sure it's
worth spending the money on.  4mb is actually enough.  it would be
nice to have more ram, but if she really needs more power, she can
work on another machine.  and what would we do with that 2mb upgrade
card?

i did take a look at that a while ago.  unless i find a 2.5" scsi <-->
50pin adapter, i guess what i need is a 3rd party hard disk formatter
that will work with this mac.  any ideas about what to look for?
