[rescue] OT: How To Archive Lists/Newsgroups

Hi Folks,

I've run into a slight problem with my email - I like to keep mail
for useful lists such as this one, but at present am using Outlook.
That seems to have a limit of 16K messages in each folder which is
only about 5 months of messages on this list. What do other folk who
archive lists use - StarOffice doesn't look like much in this area -
or do I have to start writing my own software :-( I have a similar 
problem with newsgroups too - currently use Gravity which again runs 
out of steam with many large newsgroups.
