This trick worked pretty well in mine, I ripped out all the 512MB disks and 
replaced them with Fast/Wide 'Cudas.  It took a bit of tinkering with the 
SCSI ID headers to get it right, but now it screams, literally (sounds like a 
damn jet engine winding up when you start it).  Mine is also one of the F/W 
Diff models.  Works like a champ, and it'll suck a 1400VA UPS untill it cries 
uncle, I had to move it to a 2.2KV.
