Painful gotcha:

Solaris 9 deleted the "audioens" driver for PCI Ensoniq audio cards.  I
wonder if other SME stuff will get clipped next.

No, the Solaris 8 driver doesn't appear to work.  I'm playing with Philip
Brown's x86 driver code right now but am uncovering a few bugs on Sparc.
