[rescue] Sun 17" monitor question (365-1406)

Hi lads

I'm thinking of picking up a cheap used Sun 17" monitor (DOM is 2001). Specifically a 365-1406 (Samsung DP17M0).

I'm surprised that the max rated resolution is only 1152900. I'd like to use this on my non-Sun systems - has anyone pushed their's higher than this? Also, any bouquets or brickbats for this particular model.
