Been there, done that.  Problem is texas heat, insufficient insulation, and
a badly mismatched and WAY out of date central AC system.

(the internal blower and coils are ORIGINAL WITH THE HOUSE, which is 31 years
old...)

We change the filter every 30 days (or more often).
