>From what I can remember, the Axil 255 was similar to the 245 but designed
to fit into a SS1/1+/2 pizzabox chassis.  It was usually sold as a
motherboard swap.  It can be considered a SS5 clone (microSparc CPU, 64
bit memory path separate from Sbus, etc).

What configuration are the memory slots (type, labels, locations)?  I
haven't worked with a 255 but the 245 (which was a close relative) used
pairs of 72-pin parity SIMMs.  The SIMM pairings may not be physically
contiguous on the board.
