The only Packard Bell (divison of Packard Bell Electronics) computers
I'm familiar with are the PB-250 and a massive analogue system
("Trice"?) that I've only seen an ad for.
The PB-250 is from around 1960, and was a very low-end machine. The
one in the RCS's collection was used in a lab for realtime data
monitoring of some sort.
Small, cheap, *weird*. (22 bit, delay line. And the backplane is
soldered, not wirewrapped.)
I have some info on it here:
http://www.cca.org/tech/rcs/pb250.html
And there's a good story about using one here:
