This is OK, but the point I am complaining about is: This moron did not
make the smallest effort to write code that can work with anything else
than gcc. He hardcoded gcc into the configure.in script. If he had
written somthing that could work in principle with an other compiler but
will fail with anything else than gcc because of some particularities,
it would have been OK and I would fix it. 
So the "fix" is to rewrite a part of the configure.in script and maybe
some parts of the application to get it work together. I don't want to
do this, because it takes to much of my precious time to dig into that
code.
