For sure, you can use an Xterm.  You could also use a PC running Linux
or BSD with the Via EDEN processors.  Note that one advantage for the
PC route is that it is easy to find cards that do 24 bit color.  It is
more difficult to find an Xterm that will do better than 8bits (256
colors).

What color depth do they run in?
