ok, i need to know about limits and what wide cards are supported.  i have a
couple wide BAxxx shelves, so i could really take advantage of this.  although
would speed really benefit?  i can only suck info off this thing at 100Mbit
(using fastE or FDDI) so the extra cost/work might not be worth it.  it's not
like this thing is going to get pounded, it's for home use and all. ;)

i have quite a few shelves, but i lack shells as well.

ok, so we need to find which firmware works and start making a repository.
i'd be more than willing to host it.
