[rescue] Anyone want a 670MP?

We've just got in a Sun Fire V100 to replace our ten-year-old (?) Sun
670 MP. Please no flames about SCSI v. IDE -- my low-rpm ide laptop
outperforms this thing.

The 670 has 128 MB of RAM, two of those ill-regarded ROSS CPU modules, a
framebuffer of some kind (never used, I can't remember what it is, and
for some reason dmesg is garbled), two 1.3 Gig internal disks, and an
internal CD-ROM.

<bodoman>Quad CPU Power!</bodoman>

With it we can throw in boxed 2.5.1 Server CDs and manuals, the hardware
manual, a never-used type 4 keyboard, a never-used optical mouse with
never-used grid mouse pad and misc. cables (not all of these are
never-used). I'd rather give the misc stuff with the 670 MP, perhaps as
an incentive for someone to pick it up.

The server and internals (less the framebuffer, it has never been test)
are known to be working, I can't speak to misc and never-used stuff.
Before you pick it up I'll do a fresh re-install of 2.5.1 and maybe even
download the patches.

We aren't trying to sell it -- we would want someone to come by our
offices (eastern North Carolina) and haul the thing away. This isn't
something that needs to happen right away (I haven't setup the new
server yet). If no one can pick it up we will power it down and use it
as a computer-room table until someone does take it away.

I'll miss the old beast, but we are starting to ask of it more than it
can provide.

Let me know if you are interested.
