[rescue] Linux/Sparc

I believe that ftp.slackware.com is hosted by Sourceforge.  I usually use ftp.cerias.purdue.edu  I just took a look to see if they have the sparc port there.  It's under /pub/os/slackware/unsupported/sparc or something close to that.  Give that a try and see if it's any faster for you.
