[rescue] ups is dead 8-(

I have replaced two sets of UPS batteries by buying them at the local
Battery Warehouse. No, really, that's the name of the place. They have
motorcycle batteries and so on. The UPS batteries (exact match in
dimensions, material and capacity) were about 1/2 the price that the
mfr. wanted.
