   Ah. Since I lack any command cable suitable for a 7053, I didn't know
that. All my SMD cables were for 451's. So, the question remains, does
anybody have such a cable? Pretty please? :)

   I've got a pile of them that I'd like to get rid of. They just require
way too much power for their capacity to actually put them into service.
The pedestal I have with a pair of 8" disks (700M? 900M?) is questionable,
but since VME SCSI support in NetBSD/sun4 was somewhere between flaky and
SOL last time I checked, SMD seems like my only choice if I want to have
local disks on a 4/2xx.
