NetBSD 1.5.1_BETA is available for the Sun2. I have been running NetBSD 1.5
on my 2/120 for several months and am in the process of upgrading to 1.5.1.

You can run diskless, but you will need a Sun2/Sun3 machine or another
NetBSD machine as a server. The server needs to supply the secondary boot
to the 2/120 over the net using Sun nd protocols. The ndbootd daemon in
SunOS can do this or the sunndd program can do this on a NetBSD server.
