Try a DIMM at a time...

Also, are you sure the memory jumpers are correct for the SS/5-170? (Was the
board working fine before the swap?) There are jumpers for speed/memory
issues on the MB.

There is only one speed for SS/5 RAM, but some parts may be bad/out of
spec...
