Were you part of David S.'s group - I think we had a van, (it left with more
than it came in with, IIRC), I just remember one of Dave's frineds from
Rochester that was *real* fond of his few PC parts, peiced at about 65% of
their new prices, two years previous!

I also remember during the tail end of our collective "UnixPC/7300/3b1"
phase, dave had a friend that *flew in* from the midwest (well, maybe it was
Ohio) to shop - it was funny, he not only had to rationalize the purchaseof
the useless hulks discarded by others, "...all part of some eventual master
plan *not quite* worked out full yet, but I'm quite sure this will be
needed - and at this price I can't pass it up!"

I believe he got Dave to go to UPS the next day and ship some of his larger
"treasures" back home...

I often think back to the ones that *should* have been rained out, but
weren't...

Sadly, last year I was able to traverse the entire flea market in under 3
hours, and then just hung around, not quite believing that was "all there
was." ;^)

If you are in any way serious, you need to get a flea market spot, then you
simply park the car and cart your treasures back to your space, and at the
end of th eday, you simply drive home! Once the show went "corporate" the
spaces got too expensive (for me)...
