Yeah.

The only chip I can think of that has ambiguous size is the original
MC68000.

In machine language, it looks like a 32-bit processor.

It is implimented with microcode on 16-bit hardware.

So - for software compatibility & upgrade considerations, it's a
32-bit CPU. For performance considerations, it's 16.

(I personally just think of it as 32-bit, but some people seem
to disagree with this. Primarily over first-32-bit-uproc bragging
rights, I think.)
