Sure.  I've got two of the Alacron AL860-40-4 (40 MHz, 4 MB?) VME boards.
I'm almost certain both will power up to a serial monitor app (at least one
did; I think both did).  No docs, but the i860XR-40 datasheet and some
related app notes are available at http://www.freetradezone.com/
