I usually stay away from E-Bay for notebooks.  There seems to be an
affliction there where an old notebook costs close to the purchase price of
a new notebook.  I refuse to pay $600 for an IBM ThinkPad 166mhz notebook
when it would probably only cost me $800 or thereabouts to get a new one at
a _much_ faster level of processing power.
