[SunRescue] Hard drive size in Ultra 10

I've got a question on hard drive size on a ultraSPARC10.   The compsci dept at
my school bought one last year with a 9GB IDE drive.  The info they got from
Sun was that they had to use only those drives.  I know this isn't true with my
SPARC 5 and 2s.  Can they just slap in a larger (say 20GB) drive made by some
other manufacture?  Will solaris 8 have "issues" with a larger drive?
