[SunRescue] can I repost your mails?

I haven't seen the letter yet, but all I have to say is the Sunhelp site
is primarily what got me interested in Sun hardware in the first place and
got me signed up for this list, waiting for a little Sparc gem to be
rescued. Also seeing as how the documentation for the older Sparcs seems
to be slowly dissapearing from Sun's site (when I was first looking
through docs.sun.com I think they had LX/Classic docs and up, now I think
all that's left is SS20 and up), sunhelp.org is about the only place to go
to find out anything about these older machines. Sure, if I wasn't a
student and had tons of money to burn I'd get the latest and greatest
UltraSparc stuff, but at this point I'm stuck looking for the free or
really cheap older Sun hardware (which still has plenty of use left). Sun
won't be making too many friends killing the "second hand" market, and
more likely they'll loose quite a few of their potential future customers
(especially with the "we only support the latest and greatest expensive
stuff" attitude that seems to be asserting itself here). Sigh. It's
almost enough to make one go back to pushing PC's (ick, bad thought; okay
I guess SGI's and other true Unix boxes are still out there. Phew, that
was scary for a second).
