Save yourself some grief.  Toddle over to a computer or office-supply 
store, and buy a Macintosh modem cable.  That and a null-modem adapter make 
a fine terminal cable.  My understanding is that a "Mac Plus" cable even 
has enough wires to work with a modem, though I've never tried it myself.

Or, if you're not in much of a hurry, Mike Nisewonger has some real Sun 
cables for sale....
