Hi again

meanwhile you propably all hate me and my SUN IPC, but 
I'm not willing to give up. I want this box working and 
I don't care of what I can do with it.

At the moment my situation is as follows:
I have a "new" SUN Monitor 16" color and when connected 
to my SUN the first time it directly prooved that the 
box is working properly. I've seen all this messages you 
people told me about and I found myself at the prompt 
(which I now know is the old mode)

My problem is that I could not do anything. I have 
pressed nearly any key on my keyboard - and yes I started
with the n-key to get into "new-mode".

I then turned the SUN off again and checked the keyboard
cable - plugging in and out again. When I turned my SUN
on again all I could see was this little message saying
that no keyboard is connected to the SUN and that all
input output will be redirected to tty.
Fine I thougt so my cable is propably broken. But where 
can I get a new one from? 

I tried to make a seriell connection to betwen my SUN and 
my PC using the rest of my keyboard cable (for the plug)
and a normal 9 PIN but I could not completely figure out
which pin has to be connected to which :-(

Maybe anyone is still enthusiastic enough to help me out
