   Actually, the presence or absence of useful extended diagnostics is
a function of ROM revision. On all models, older ROMs have them and newer
ROMs don't as the space was used for boot options instead. Some of the
newer ROMs also lost the help screen.
   Even newer ROMs usually have an ethernet test available, though. I
dislike them because the thing I want to test most often is memory, and
those tests are all gone. :P
